About Life

The big and the small, the extraordinary and the mundane, the precious and the transient . . . lessons learned from the reality of today.

Reflections in this category include those gleaned from teaching middle school, struggling with infertility, completing grad school, pregnancy, living the life of a birth doula, working as the Center Manager of a birth center, and everything in between.

    Lauren –

If you get this comment twice, I apologize. Maybe take it as another reminder. 🙂

My heart hurts for you as you write about your longing to have a baby. I don’t know the severity of your fertility issue, but I felt in my spirit to remind you of the kind of God we serve. Infertility is but a name and the name of Jesus is higher than any other name.

If it is truly your desire to have a child why wouldn’t God be able to do this for you? After all He is the creator of Life.

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Matthew 19:26 …but with God ALL things are possible.

What was it that God commanded of Adam and Eve?

Genesis 1:28 And God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply.

Speak to your body and command it to line up with the Word of God.

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power f the tongue…

Speak life into your body. My prayer for you is that whatever is not working properly that all will be restored to complete health.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Have faith in God my sister. Go as far as thanking God for your little one, believing.

Consider Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah built an arc because of a warning of something not yet seen. It had never rained before the flood. How was it possible that it would flood? Because prophesied it.

I am a witness of God’s faithfulness and healing power not only in my life but several other women around me who wanted children badly and despite what reports came in from the doctors, God made a way.

If God came through for Sarai, Rebekah, Rachel, Maroah’s wife, Hannah and Elizabeth, why wouldn’t He do the same for us?

I recently read a blog you published October 25, 2011 titled “It’s the little things” I was excited to read how God had already shown your baby to your husband. God showed me in 3 different dreams 3 different children. I am now waiting anxiously and expectantly on the other 2.

Be encouraged Woman of God. We have the victory in Christ Jesus and God will get the Glory.

If you are interested in a little of my testimony please read my very first published blog titled “2 year Anniversary”.

    Be Blessed,
